Nick Langdon is a Singer, Actor and Special Events Producer who resides in Sacramento, California, USA.  Nick has been studying and researching vintage Hollywood since he was in grade school.  His favorite movie stars are Marion Davies and Mae West.  Nick runs the Marion Davies Home Page on the internet and is close to Davies' family.   Among other projects, Nick is busy planning his first commercial recording, due out in the Summer of 2001.

In late 1991, Nick was approached by the Towe Auto Museum of Sacramento about planning a movie related special event.  The event, An Evening With Mae West, was originally planned as a one time show.  The event was such a success that Nick was asked to parlay the format into a continuing series.  Each show is based on a particular film or star, with a Wurlitzer concert and a live floor show before a feature film.  The shows, which are produced quarterly, have become quite popular, often attracting visitors and special guests from across California and beyond.

In 1993 Nick chaired a committee which produced a large computer trade show in Sacramento, acting as the show coordinator.  The show became an annual event for four consecutive years, attracting vendors from across the U.S. and Canada.  In 1994, Nick took a break to appear in a Sacramento production of The Pirates of Penzance, playing a pop-eyed policeman in classic Keystone Kop fashion.  Nick has made radio appearances, appeared in television commercials, and keeps busy appearing at special events.

Nick sings with a classic 1940's era microphone, and almost strictly performs music from the late 1920's and early 30's.  His house in a Sacramento suburb is plastered with posters and photos of stars from his favorite era.  Nick is kept busy at home tending after his menagerie of pets, some of them named after his favorite movie stars.   Nick's other interests include Ocean Liners, dance diva Donna Summer, and an obscure soft drink called Double Cola.  When Double Cola was forced from the West Coast, Nick bought a home beverage carbonator and had syrup shipped from back East.   According to the Double Cola Co., Nick is the only person West of the Rockies regularly enjoying the rare soft drink.

This odd collage of interests and fascinations blend into one multi-faceted entertainer: Nick Langdon.
