The album is available online here and also at Tower.com and CDbaby.com.
Many thanks to film Director Michael Sarne for his great write-up on
the album as well as Bill Reed from www.songbirds.com.
"This recording by Nick Langdon is a wonderful tribute to
the movies and makes you appreciate the value of a great score. His
singing is a joy, the production and arrangements are sensational.
Open a bag of popcorn, put on Nick’s CD, close your eyes and
enjoy the movies in your mind!"
-Michael Sarne Director of Myra
Breckinridge and Joanna)
"…wonderful, no-nonsense, unaffected, straightforward, we are
definitely NOT talking Tiny Tim here.
If you want to hear the way live music sounded
back then, this is the place to go. The arrangements are (to invoke
fitting parlance of the times) the berries. If digital recording
existed back in the 1930s this is the way discs from that era might
sound."

The Sacramento Bee published their review of the album, it's
available to read at http://www.sacramento.com/content/music/2001/0701.html.
Now that the Sacramento article is out Judy is going to work on SF papers followed by
Los Angeles as the album becomes available there for the first
time. I have a show at the Towe Museum in Sacramento on July
20th (Lana Turner in ZIEGFELD GIRL) where the album will also be
available. I'll be making personal appearances at area Borders
Books and Music locations when they bring the album in (and also
Dimple) and I think Judy wants to start a posting here telling
everyone where and when I'll be appearing. I have never yet
appeared in my "new" vintage tuxedo (my third!) so I'm
excited to show it off. It is vintage late 20's with full
tails and spent a couple of weeks at the tailor shop being restored
and fitted for my bod after I found it at a vintage clothing store.
The album is now available in all San Francisco Tower Record stores
and many other Tower stores in Northern California.
Thanks for stopping by and feel free to leave email at nlangdon@decofilms.com.
Thanks everyone,
-Nick Langdon
